Recent roles: Principal, O’Sullivans Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys; previously Director, Proteomics International Pty Ltd, Founder and Chairman of specialist IP management services company and Partner of WA’s largest Patent Attorney firm.
Over the last 18 years, Martin has developed a broad range of intellectual property management and commercialisation skills, and a broad understanding of technical development issues through his involvement in a range of technology projects across diverse industries from medical devices, biotechnology, drilling, smart hearing protection and software based innovations. Martin has assisted many companies by designing and implementing commercialisation and IP management strategies that are mapped to their overarching business strategies and tailored to fully exploit the commercial value of the underlying intellectual property.
Martin is a dual registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney (Australia and New Zealand) and a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys and is also the Principal of O’Sullivans Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys where he leads a small team of experienced IP practitioners.
Martin has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
