Chris returned to Perth after an extended period working and living in the Silicon Valley area of California, USA, working in a range of senior management and executive roles.

Over his career, Chris has developed a broad range of software development, marketing, commercialisation and business strategy skills. He has a broad understanding of technology application in high technology, mining, manufacturing and oil and gas industries and has been actively involved in early stage technology projects and multiple software and technology product launches. At Symantec Corporation, the fourth largest software company, he was actively involved in the launch of multiple products globally.

Chris has founded three technology companies that he managed through to commercial sales. Two of these were software businesses that were sold to US companies. The businesses have generated over $100M in sales. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia and completed advanced management education at Harvard Business School in the US. Chris was also a WA Business News 40 under 40 winner in 2004.
